Hi. I’m Craig.

My Professional Profile

Please see my LinkedIn profile for more specifics on my professional career.

I combine a Computer Science education, Network Administration training, and marketing experience to deliver solutions that help agencies serve the public.

I’ve worked in three different areas of the public sector, all three interesting in their own way:

I worked for the County — the State’s largest library system.

Then for the NJ State Parole Board, where I would enter state prisons to fix equipment so they could conduct parole hearings.

Now I work for Rutgers, managing services that other IT departments need to manage their devices.

In addition to that, I’m a hobbyist programmer, and have social media management experience.

I’ve found having that marketing mindset — focusing on what motivates people and what they find interesting, not just what I find interesting — has served me well in my IT career.

Some Things About Me Personally

I’m a 41 year old father of 5 year old twin boys. Born, raised and still living in Ocean County, New Jersey.

My wife Lisa is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and VP of Operations for 3 pediatric health clinics, 2 of which are in Ocean County (Brick and Toms River).

My hair has been gray since I was 19. I’ve long since stopped dyeing it. I’m just glad I still have hair!

After my parents passed away, I underwent a mission to uncover my own family history. I became a genealogist.

In 2020 I co-wrote a Genealogical Research Book with a distant cousin, based on one of our own lines of ancestry.

I’ve helped several other distant cousins find their birth parents.

In my 20s, I lost 150lbs. Dropped from 377 down to 225.

Unfortunately, I gained most of the weight back after we had our twins. Male post-partum hit me very hard. Maybe one day I’ll write about that.

Of course, I’m dropping the weight again.
